d berman gallery’s Line/Form will present five of the most innovative artists in Texas. The exhibit will include work by three gallery artists and introduce two artists to the Austin area.

Alice Leora Briggs’ haunting and challenging graphic works utilize a technique called sgraffito which resembles fine-line etchings.

Jeffery Dell, whose colorful serigraphs use a variety of inks and textures, teaches printmaking at Texas State University.

Although Mary McCleary is one of Texas’ most respected collage artists, her compelling narrative works have rarely been shown in Austin.

Joseph Phillips continues his “real estate package drawings”, which are exquisitely rendered and reflect his wry sense of humor.

Shawn Smith was selected for Austin Museum of Art’s “New Art in Austin: 20 To Watch”; his complex pixilated wooden sculptures satirize the illusion of digital imagery.
